Locate and identify the connection
Share the mainline structure IDs, station or chainage, property address and available drawings. If several laterals are being surveyed, use a schedule or map that pairs each connection with the right asset identifier.
Confirm where the camera can enter
Describe access through a cleanout, manhole or other approved opening, and note the approximate length and bends. Cleaning may be required when deposits or flow obstruct visibility. Do not promise that the camera can pass every bend or obstruction.
Make the output traceable
Confirm the required direction of travel, footage references, continuous video, observations and naming convention. For construction work, align the report with the owner’s current handover requirements.
