01

Share the current test specification

Provide the approved procedure, acceptance limits, test medium, hold time, pressure range and any applicable safety instructions. Requirements may differ by asset, authority and contract.

02

Identify test boundaries

List the segment IDs, pipe material, diameter, length, isolation points and access structures. Confirm the installation stage and whether valves, fittings or branches affect the test limits.

03

Clarify witnessing and records

Confirm who must be present, when the test can proceed, how results will be recorded and where documents are submitted. If a test fails, the owner or engineer determines next steps and whether a new test is required.
